Drill Pipe Slips Type DU

The drill pipe slip type DU is a kind of traditional product favoured by some oilmen. According to the contact length between insert and pipe, as well as the contact length between back cone and insert bowl, this range of pipe seizing equipment can be classified into DU series, DUL series and SDU series. The DU series can be used at the well with the maximum depth of 8,000ft. For clamping heavy drill pipe, the DUL series drill pipe slip is a good choice for you. Since the contact area of the back cone of SDU series is larger, the strength of the oil exploitation tool is higher.

The back of the insert is designed in arch shape, which makes for easy and fast installation. Moreover, better centring and fastening effect can be obtained. With the same slip body, the insert of the drill pipe slip can be replaced for application on different pipes.
