Long History
Coming into existence in 1958, Rutong Company is developed into a powerful enterprise with RMB 400 million total assets and RMB 400 million annual scale of production from a small individual workshop staffed with 30 employees for manufacturing farm implements through 50 years of continuous effort, reform and innovation.

Mainly producing tools and equipment used at wellhead, our company is awarded honours like China’s Top 50 Enterprisers Manufacturing Petroleum and Petrochemical Equipment, Hi-tech Enterprise in Jiangsu Province, Jiangsu Enterprise Technology Center, Jiangsu Engineering and Technological Research Center for Oil Drilling and Oil Extraction Wellhead Equipment, Jiangsu Graduate Work Station, and some others.

Solid Strength
Our factory covers an area of 200 thousand square meters, in which 150,000 square meters are for office and workshops. Engaged in manufacturing petroleum machinery for more than 40 years, we have rich experience in production technology, product manufacturing and company management. Possessing 80 sets of high-precision equipment like machining centre, numerically-controlled machine tool and large-scale planning machine, the total quantity of the machines is up to 600 sets.

We have solid strength in casting, heat treatment and machining, such as 50,000 square meters largest production line for tong, elevator, link and bushing, 30,000 square meters casting production line with annual production capacity of 10,000 tons, as well as 4,000 square meters full-automatic heat treatment production line controlled by computer.

Research and Development
In the office building of 5,000 square meters, the technology research and development centre is equipped with advanced high-performance computer, plotting instrument, graphic workstation, etc. Meanwhile, technologies like CAD, CAPP, PDM and three-dimensional techniques are also introduced into our scientific research centre. The internationally advanced research and development level makes for the leading position of our product in the domestic industry.

Capable of manufacturing 6,000 products classified into 14 series, such as tong, elevator, link, slip, and some others, we are now making great effort to explore pneumatic and hydraulic products. Based on the requirement of the customers, we can design and produce tools and equipment used under special conditions like low temperature. With proprietary intellectual property rights for main technology, we can provide wide variety of product in complete specifications. The type of elevator keeps abreast with international development tendency. More than 20 kinds of our products are granted the national patents, or awarded the honours like National Important New Product, Jiangsu Province High-tech product, etc.

Advanced Testing Method
The product quality has been comprehensively improved with the introduction of 1000-ton all-purpose electro-hydraulic servo compression-testing machine controlled by microcomputer, magnetic particle flaw detector, ultrasonic fault detector, ultralow temperature detector, spectrograph imported from Germany, trilinear coordinates measuring instrument, metallographic phase and physico-chemical analyzer. We have Production Licence for our main products. Passing ISO9001 Quality Management System Certification and ISO14001 Environment Management System Certification, our product is also certified by API (Spec 7K, Spec 8C), DNV and GL. Besides, our products like tong, elevator, link, slip and pneumatic spider are regarded as well-known product in the industry.

Effective Management
Currently, there are 650 employees working in our company, in which 160 have college degree or above, and 90 are engineering technicians. In recent years, we make great effort in improving the skills of our employees. Innovatively managed, our company has developed incentive system and restriction system that are in compliance with the requirements for market competition and enterprise development.
